Painting Mindfully

This workshop is designed to explore how mindfulness can be used to create beautiful works of art. We will focus on using mindful techniques such as breathing, relaxation, and focusing to create our artwork.

We will use chocolate to add an element of joy and relaxation to our class. Chocolate can be used to bring mindfulness to the creative process and help us stay focused and relaxed.

Each workshop will start with a guided meditation and mindfulness exercise to help us become present and relaxed. Then, we will learn basic techniques for painting; such as composition, color theory, and perspective. We will also explore various approaches to painting, such as abstract and representational art.

In addition to learning painting techniques, we will also explore our own creative process. We will discuss ways to stay inspired and motivated and make art that is meaningful to us. We will be encouraged to experiment and have a relaxing art experience.

This class is perfect for participants of all levels and abilities. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn how to paint, or an experienced artist looking to gain more insight into your creative process, this class is for you!

As an added bonus, each participant will leave with their own mindfulness journal!
