This abstract painting workshop is the perfect opportunity for beginner and experienced artists alike to explore their creativity and learn about abstraction. We will use acrylic paint to explore basic color mixing, brush techniques, and textures. We will learn about historical abstract styles and techniques and some of the great abstract artists that we can look to for inspiration. We will discuss the principles of abstract art and practice creating our own compositions. There will be ample opportunity to share our ideas and artwork with the class and receive feedback.
