Exploring Collage (Muhammad ali)

This afternoon I decided to make a collage in honor of one of America's greatest athletes of all time. Muhammad Ali was an inspiration to everyone he came in contact with, including me. I met him when I was a kid and still have that autograph today—it’s my prized possession." In exploring collage, I was inspired by how it can transform the original work. Not only can it lift a piece of art off the page or canvas, but it can also be combined with other media, creating new textures and surfaces rich with detail and meaning.

I love to work with collage as a creative medium, even though I've rarely ventured to try it seriously. It's fun and versatile, but it can also be a powerful tool for expression. A collage is perfect for taking something that exists in reality and creating something new—stuck in a rut with your favorite? Try this! I'm finding it a great escape and an exciting and expressive way to share my story.

Collage is a great way to create something new. It's a place where you can explore ideas and concepts and make art that doesn't look like other art. I love collage because it lets me use my imagination and be free. My pieces aren't based on reality—they have their truth.

Collage also allows me to re-imagine things in ways that are more interesting than what they are in real life. I'm expecting to go deeper into this exploration in 2023, I hope to share some creative stories using these works, and I hope you will take that journey with me.
